First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a small town city with about 6,792 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. Let me know your thoughts. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
We're a young couple and Rent is about $838/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $175,500, which is actually reasonable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Is this normal for Donaldsonville? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
