Hey, Been living here since 2020. The unemployment rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $549,500 on average. With a population of 5,947, Doney Park is a small town. Poverty rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much stable but now it's hit or miss.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good airport with direct flights
- The food scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..
