Best neighborhoods to rent in Doral?

Hey folks, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $514,600, which is pretty steep. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Bought a house here in 2020 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.

I've lived in West for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The outdoor recreation scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 12 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Used to live on the Oak Park side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.
