Pros and cons of Doral after 15 years

Anyone else feel this way? I'm single, late 30s, and The median home value here is around $514,600, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,510/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Doral sits at 96.6 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Pros:
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Easy commute

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- High property taxes
- Far from major airports
- Limited cultural events
- Homelessness issues downtown
What do you all think? Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I've lived in West for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- The housing market scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..
