Thinking about relocating to Doral from Denver

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $88,474 in Doral. Homes are going for about $514,600 on average. Median household income is $88,474, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 9.6%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

I'm a sales manager and I've found it exceeded my expectations. The community is tough and there's always something going on.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in The Heights for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- The safety scene is average

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
