Worst things about Doral nobody talks about

OK so The median home value here is around $514,600, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 78--F, so it's warm year-round. With a population of 76,490, Doral is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Should I be concerned? Thanks! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 9 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
