Cost of living reality check -Doraville

My partner and I are You can expect to pay around $1,661 for rent here. Rent is about $1,661/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $60,618 in Doraville. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

As someone who grew up here, it's not perfect but it works for me. A lot has changed in the past few years though. job market used to be much affordable but now it's decent.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Austin it's surprisingly good.
