Remote worker thinking about Dormont
Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 8,120 people. Homes are going for about $204,800 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
