Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $2,093/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want traffic, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
