How is Dos Palos for outdoor activities?

Hello, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $1,182 for rent here. Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
