Day-to-day life in Dover, OH

Hey, Crime rate is something to consider -Dover sits at 109.9 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,004 for rent here. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much reasonable but now it's excellent.
