Considering Dranesville vs Seattle -help me decide

First post here. Median household income is $210,766, which feels pretty solid for the area. Poverty rate is 0.8%, which is pretty low. With a population of 11,860, Dranesville is a small town. The unemployment rate is 2.2%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 1 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
