Best kept secrets of Drexel Heights, AZ

I've been here for 8 years and The median home value here is around $233,300, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 27,636, Drexel Heights is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What would you do? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in retail. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Definitely worth checking out..
