Career opportunities in Drexel Heights, AZ

Hey, I'm a 51-year-old nurse and Median household income is $75,152, which feels about average for the area. You can expect to pay around $1,285 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in marketing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Definitely worth checking out..
