Anyone regret moving to Dripping Springs?

Hey everyone, You can expect to pay around $1,985 for rent here. The median home value here is around $579,300, which is pretty steep. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What are your go-to spots? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The cost of living is better than expected compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Riverside. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
