Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $710,700 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Any advice would be great. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from Minneapolis about 2 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons
Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Good luck with whatever you decide..
