Dublin is underrated, change my mind

Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Homes are going for about $1,224,100 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Came here for school and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The traffic is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Eastside for 11 years. Moved from Tampa for a job opportunity. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2021 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. hospitality is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor scene is average - we have hiking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Eastside schools are average. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited shopping options. Bugs and humidity in summer. And school system can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 7/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
