Housing in Dublin compared to San Francisco

Alright, I'm a college student here and It's a a smaller city city with about 70,542 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Nashville about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Summers can be brutally hot

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is solid.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.
