Dublin in the winter -how bad?

Hey everyone, We have two kids and It's a a small town city with about 16,023 people. You can expect to pay around $752 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Dublin sits at 541.9 per 100K. Poverty rate is 26.9%, which is higher than I expected. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? Thanks! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
