Been meaning to ask this. Been living here since 2013. The median home value here is around $173,500, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $752/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
