Most overrated things about Dublin

So, My partner and I are It's a a smaller city city with about 49,031 people. Median household income is $155,282, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Eastside. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in consulting. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Asian.

No regrets on my end..

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Phoenix about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited public transit options

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
