Cost of living reality check -Duluth

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Duluth sits at 93.6 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
