Anyone work in healthcare in Duluth?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $66,263 in Duluth. The median home value here is around $225,700, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 15 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in South area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is underrated in most areas.
