Things Duluth needs to improve
Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 7.5%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $66,263 in Duluth. Homes are going for about $225,700 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Duluth sits at 340.1 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Thoughts? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
