Pros and cons of Duluth after 12 years
Hey folks, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from San Diego about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good airport with direct flights
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are manageable, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
