Commute times in Dumont -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? Rent is about $1,778/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What are your go-to spots? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. I've lived in The Heights for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- The weather scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I work in hospitality here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is hit or miss. Good luck with whatever you decide..
