OK so Born and raised here. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,778/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is safety. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..
