Anyone work in healthcare in Duncanville?

Hi all, I relocated for work and Median household income is $71,381, which feels about average for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Moved here from Chicago about 13 years ago. it's exactly what I was looking for. Still getting used to dating scene but No regrets on my end..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The traffic is genuinely improving and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Highland) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. walkability is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Midtown area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
