Housing market in Duncanville right now

Been meaning to ask this. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,562 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Thanks! There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The dating scene is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
