Is Dundalk worth moving to in 2026?

I've been here for 8 years and The median home value here is around $199,600, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 65,441, Dundalk is a smaller city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
