Is public transit usable in Dundalk?

Been meaning to ask this. I work in automotive and Household incomes average around $62,349 in Dundalk. Homes are going for about $199,600 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cheers.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in East area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Came here for family and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The food scene is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Austin about 6 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. housing market used to be much manageable but now it's pretty good.
