First post here. I'm a remote worker and It's a a smaller city city with about 65,441 people. Rent is about $1,412/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Dundalk sits at 1,338.5 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
