Career opportunities in Dundee, MI

Hey folks, I'm a 35-year-old software engineer and Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $71,058 in Dundee. The unemployment rate is 1.5%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to.

I've lived in Riverside for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals
- The cultural scene scene is improving

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 5 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is decent.

Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..
