Cheapest neighborhoods in Dunkirk?

Hey everyone, Median household income is $166,471, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 2,319 people. Homes are going for about $557,700 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. TIA! The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Cedar Grove area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value outdoor recreation, you'll love it. The food scene is genuinely solid and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. food scene is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Used to live on the Meadowbrook side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
