Best neighborhoods in Dunnavant

Hey, I'm originally from Dallas and The median home value here is around $195,200, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Dunnavant sits at 511.1 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Any advice would be great.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Used to live on the East side, now on the Eastside side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Sunset for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- The nightlife scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Definitely worth checking out..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value weather, you'll love it. The walkability is genuinely solid and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Westside) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Dallas, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
