Durham in the winter -how bad?

Anyone else feel this way? It's a a small town city with about 3,508 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Dallas it's hit or miss.
