Healthcare options in Durham?

Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 288K, Durham is a mid-size city. Rent is about $1,412/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What would you do? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.
