Hey everyone, I work in finance and You can expect to pay around $1,182 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Dyer sits at 98.5 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
