Eagan job market vs Los Angeles

Curious what people think. I'm a remote worker and With a population of 68,158, Eagan is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 68,158 people. Rent is about $1,604/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 47--F, so expect cold winters. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What would you do? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
