Hello, Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $1,604 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Nashville about 12 years ago. The main reasons were family and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Good luck with whatever you decide..
