Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Houston about 10 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Public transit is challenging here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

My experience has been mostly positive. I have mixed feelings honestly. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
