Rent vs buy in Eagle Point -what makes sense?

Hey folks, Rent is about $1,371/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to.

Came here for school and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The dating scene is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is community vibe. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to New York it's solid.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. I have mixed feelings honestly. Worth doing your research before committing.
