What to expect moving to Eagle Point?

Hey folks, I'm single, late 30s, and You can expect to pay around $1,371 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 8.9%, which is concerning. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I overthinking this?

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 15 years. Moved from Denver for retirement. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
finance is strong here. marketing is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are growing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is average - we have national forests within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Chain restaurants dominate. Limited entertainment options. And job market can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 8/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
