Moving to Eagleville CDP (Montgomery County) for work -advice?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Military spouse here. Household incomes average around $100,500 in Eagleville CDP (Montgomery County). Median household income is $100,500, which feels pretty solid for the area. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this? The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've lived in East for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
- The weather scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is improving in most areas.
