Studio apartments in Easley -options?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Cincinnati and With a population of 23,942, Easley is a small town. Median household income is $65,330, which feels about average for the area. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The walkability is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a real estate agent, 47, moved here 11 years ago from Denver. I've lived in Downtown and Riverside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Nice parks and green spaces
3. Four distinct seasons
4. The people are generally better than expected - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Not a lot of cultural diversity
2. Limited entertainment options
3. The job market situation is pricey and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Downtown: Great for singles. better than expected vibes, walkable.
- Riverside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt surprisingly good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are reasonable. Gas is competitive. You can live comfortably on $40K-$80K here.

**Final verdict:**
It's not for everyone but it works for us.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 10 years ago. The main reasons were family and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are wild, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
