Is East Barre good for remote workers?

Hello, Rent is about $617/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Used to live on the Lakewood side, now on the Westside side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.
