What East Chicago does better than anywhere else

Hi all, I'm a remote worker and Household incomes average around $41,071 in East Chicago. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Meadowbrook area are improving. Kids love it here.
