East Harwich is underrated, change my mind

Born and raised here. It's a a small town city with about 5,670 people. With a population of 5,670, East Harwich is a small town. The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -East Harwich sits at 163.9 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and the quality of life is solid. Schools in Midtown area are better than expected. Kids love it here.
