Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,238/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
