Affordable areas near East Honolulu?

Rent is about $3,249/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -East Honolulu sits at 232.1 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Moved here from Portland about 15 years ago. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Still getting used to walkability but Good luck with whatever you decide..

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is job market. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
